Can we show a client our devices are encrypted?

Yes. The compliance report over time shows encryption status per device, and the audit log records every recovery key view.

What happens if a partner loses a laptop on a train?

Lock it and put it in lost mode with location from the console, then wipe it, with a second admin's approval if your policy requires one. The data was encrypted throughout.

How quickly can we offboard someone?

Disable the account and the device is locked out through company sign-in; wipe it from the console and reissue it, with Activation Lock handled.

Does Purple MDM read our clients' files?

No. Purple MDM manages the device's settings, apps and security state. It is not a content scanner and does not read documents.
